Calling and Serving the Next Applicant

Once a new applicant is checked into Qminder, we need to alert them as they reach the top of the waiting list. Once we've finished serving the applicant, we need to remove them from the list.

Calling the Next Applicant

1. Login to Qminder in Chrome or Edge.

2. Click the Service tab (speech bubbles icon).

3. Ensure you're viewing the New Applicant line.

4. Press Call Next.

The applicant's name will appear on the waiting room tv's with an alert sound. If the applicant entered their phone number at check-in, they will also receive a text message alerting them that they've been called.

No Show?

If the applicant is a no show after calling them, click the three dots next to Call Next and select No Show. They will be removed from the line.

Finish Serving the Applicant

5.  Once the applicant has been served, press Call Next or if there are no more applicants to call or you are taking a break, press Finish serving this visitor.
