Schedule Teams Meeting in Outlook

If you'd like to schedule a Teams meeting, you can do this on several different platforms, including the Teams app, Teams for web, and your Outlook calendar. For the purpose of this article, well discuss how you can schedule a Teams meeting via your Outlook calendar.

This article provides instructions on how you can schedule a meeting using a Teams Virtual Rooms system. To start an instant meeting from the Teams Rooms controller, click here.

Create Your Outlook Meeting Invite

1. Open the Outlook web app.

2. Click the Outlook Calendar icon.

3. Click New Event.

4. Enter in your meeting details including title, guests, date, and time.

5. Toggle on Teams Meeting.

6. Press Send.

Your meeting has been scheduled, your guests have been invited, and the link to join the meeting is in the invite and calendar event.
