Attach a File to an Email

Atlanta Mission uses Outlook.com for all internal and external email communication. At times you will need to attach a file or a photo to an email for reference for the recipients.

1. Click the paperclip symbol.

2. Select how you'd like to attach your file.

3. Navigate to and select the file you'd like to attach.

4. Click Open.

Your file is now attached! If you attached an image, you'll see a thumbnail, if you attached a document, you'll see a document icon and the title of the file.

OneDrive

3. Select the file you want to attach.

4. Click Share link.

Your file has now been embedded as a clickable link within the body of your email.

Upload and share

3. Navigate to and select the file you'd like to attach.

4. Click Open.

By default, files will be stored in your Attachments file in OneDrive.

5. Click Change location if you want to change the location that your file is stored.

6. Click Upload.

Your file has now been embedded as a clickable link within the body of your email.
