While on a call, you may need to transfer the caller to another Atlanta Mission employee or campus. A consultative transfer lets you speak with the receiving party first before the call is transferred.
If you want to transfer calls directly to the other party, you can perform a "blind" transfer.
1. Press the transfer soft key or the button that looks like a phone pointing at another phone.
When you press Transfer, the original caller is automatically placed on hold.
2. Dial the recipient's extension or phone number.

3. Speak with the party you'd like to transfer the call to.
4. If they can take the call, press the transfer soft key to connect the call. If they are unable to take the call, press cancel to return the caller to your deskphone.
