There are several ways you can make a call in the RingCentral Mobile App to other users in your organization as well as to external phone numbers. You can start a call via the following methods:
- Selecting the dial pad icon in the lower right corner of the Calls and Voicemail tabs in the Phone interface
- Tapping on a name or number in the call history section under the Calls tab in the Phone interface.
- Tapping on the phone icon anywhere you see it within the app
For the purpose of this article, let's discuss how you can place a call via the dial pad.

To place a call, via the dial pad:
1. Navigate to Phone icon on the bottom menu bar.
2. Tap the dial pad icon near the bottom menu bar.
3. Enter a number on the dial pad.
4. Press the green phone button.
