When a volunteer group wants to serve with Atlanta Mission, the Volunteer Group Onboarding form captures the details we need to plan a safe, meaningful experience. Most group leads complete the form online; however, if a lead calls in or is referred to us, staff should complete the form on their behalf. During that conversation, be sure to gather every required detail so we can confirm dates, assign a site, and send waivers and next steps without back-and-forth.
1. Click on the form link.
2. Enter the Volunteer Name.
3. Enter the Organization Affiliation name.
4. Enter the group leader's Email.
5. Enter the group leader's Phone.
6. Select How Many are in your Group?
7. Select their Group Type.
8. Select their answer for Do you have a budget for this service activity?
9. If they do have a budget and know the amount, enter it in What is your budget?
10. Select their answer for Is everyone in your group over 18?
11. Select their answer for Are you open to splitting your group between campuses?
12. Select their answer to Do you prefer onsite or offsite activities?
13. Select their Preferred Service Activities.
14. Select their answer to What type of campus are you interested in volunteering at?
15. Select their answer to Please select the month(s) you'd be willing to serve in.
16. Enter their answer to If more than once, how frequently would your group prefer to serve?
17. Select their answer to Do you prefer serving on a weekday or weekend?
18. Select their answer to What is your preferred time of day?
19. Enter any Additional Details.
20. Select which Staff member the group onboarding should be assigned to.
21. Click Submit.
When you submit the form, a task will be created in Asana and an automated email will be sent to the group.
The Volunteer Group Onboarding task has been created.
The next step is to review the Volunteer Group's request.
