Use the Place process when you're ready to lock in a groups visit. In this stage, create the Volunteer Opportunity, User Group, and Event Landing Page in VolunteerHub, then update the Asana task with the confirmed date of service and key details.

This article walks you through setting up the VHub assets and recording all service-date information in Asana so everything is ready for communication and registration.

From the πŸ‘₯Volunteer: Group Onboarding project.

1. Move the Group task to the πŸ“Place column.

2. Scroll down to the πŸ“…Date of Service.

3. Select the πŸ“…Date of Service.

4. Enter the πŸ•¦Service Time.

5. Select the 🏒Campus.

6. Select the πŸ“¦πŸ½οΈπŸŒΏService Type.

7. Create the opportunity in VHub and check off the subtask.

8. Create landing page and user group if new group and check off the subtask.

9. Create or update group in Salesforce and check off the subtask.

10. Scroll up to # Volunteer Slots Reserved.

11. Enter the # Volunteer Slots Reserved.

12. Paste the πŸ”—VHub Registration Link.

13. Select whether a πŸ‘€Non-VEA Host? is needed.

14. Check off the Select the Campus and Service Type fields subtask.
