After a volunteer group has served - or once you've sent your final message - log the email thread to Salesforce using the Salesforce plug-in in Outlook. Doing this makes the full conversation visible to Volunteer staff and to High Engagement/Corporate teams for prospecting and follow-up.
1. Select the email thread with the Group Lead.
2. Scroll down to the last email in the thread.
3. Click the Salesforce icon.
4. Click Pick Records.
5. Search for and select the Group Account Name.
6. Click Save.
You'll find the emails logged in the Activity section of the Group's Account in Salesforce.
